A inferência estatística e o problema da inflação do nível de alfa: A ANOVA como exemplo

Abstract

Any experiment including more than two conditions raises the problem of statistically comparing conditions one with another. This problem of multiple comparisons is related with the inflation of Type I error probability. This paper delineates this problem and presents statistical procedures specifically designed to deal with it in different situations.
