Abstract

Analyzed how death is perceived and represented by future health professionals. This exploratory study examined the significance dimensions which structure the death thoughts, sentiments and images of male and female biology, medicine and nursing students, and analyzed how these significance structures differentiate the considered social groups. This study constitutes the 1st part of an empirical investigation, theoretically framed on the social representations model (S. Moscovici, 1961).
