Contributos para uma comparação crítica de três tradições em Psicologia Social: Atitudes, representações sociais e cognição social

Abstract

A brief definition of three social psychology concepts – attitudes, social representations and schemata – is presented. These three concepts, as well as the three research traditions to which they belong, are then compared according to some reflexive axis – ontological and epistemological standing, images of Men they evoque, methodological options. The reflection developed around these axis allows the discussion that may be found among the three concepts, and aims to contribute to a tentative mapping of the discipline of social psychology.
