Versão portuguesa da Revised Anticipated Sexual Jealousy Scale: Estudos psicométricos numa amostra de indivíduos em relação de namoro

Resumo

O objetivo deste estudo consistiu em examinar as propriedades psicométricas da versão em Português Europeu da Revised Anticipated Sexual Jealousy Scale (RASJS). A amostra foi constituída por 578 participantes (68.3% do sexo feminino) que se encontravam numa relação de namoro em média há 34 meses. Os/As participantes preencheram uma bateria de avaliação composta pela RASJS e por medidas de autorresposta que avaliavam a vinculação romântica, a satisfação com a relação e a satisfação sexual. A análise fatorial confirmatória corroborou a solução de três fatores. A RASJS demonstrou uma boa fiabilidade (alfas de Cronbach entre .77 e .92), bem como validade de constructo e de critério. Os/As participantes que não relataram história prévia de infidelidade apresentaram valores mais elevados de ciúme reativo do que aqueles que relataram essa experiência, e os/as que relataram uma história prévia de infidelidade do/a parceiro/a apresentaram valores de ciúme ansioso significativamente mais elevados. As diferenças entre os sexos no ciúme romântico não foram significativas. A RASJS é particularmente adequada para a avaliação do ciúme romântico e as suas propriedades psicométricas validam a sua utilização em Portugal.
