In the present work, the authors proceed to the psychometric analysis of the properties of a Job Satisfaction inventory (developed by Warr & Routledge, 1969), in its portuguese adaptation. An intensive statistical study of the external and construct validity, as well as of the internal consistency of the inventory and of its sevens subscales is perfumed, after its applications to two examples of workers in a national computer service.
