Abstract

Along the present paper it is achieved an inquiry upon Artificial Intelligence goals, by discussing its methodologies and application fields. In particular, we present the production systems through its classification, internal structure, working, implementation, and application examples. Finally, we reflect upon the problems of the expert systems.
