Abstract

This paper develops a reflection on the attitude of old people concerning the approach of death. The author considers normal and pathological pathways in dealing with the vicinity of death. One of the issues to escape bereavement is the construction of a renewed existential project, more adequate to the peculiar situation of the elder facing extinction.
