Formas bifásicas das terapêuticas mistas nas depressões. Análise de 47 casos

Abstract

After a review of depression combined treatments (anti-depressive drugs and psychotherapy), and the «double-depression» phenomena, this article deals with the two-stage strategy as the acute depressive episode treatment of choice. Clinical relevance of the acute depressive episode pharmacotherapy as a way of «cleaning» the episode symptomatic effect is appointed. From the analysis of 47 patients the two-stage sub-type is suggested also as indicator of the correct selectivity of the psychotherapy to be employed.
