Abstract

The authors begin by discussing the nosology of pathological jealousy in order to better characterize the diagnostic category of obsessive jealousy. The clinical characteristics of a twelve patient sample are described and the results of the behavioral treatment used presented. Although 50% of the patients refused or dropped out of treatment, all those who completed treatment achieved satisfactory results and a more harmonious marriage.
