Abstract

The author reviews the behavioral theories of anxiety learning, its reinforcement factors and ways of treatment. No attempt is made to describe in detail any technique of therapeutic intervention the author stresses the general principles of treatment of anxiety disorders. Nowadays, two main factors must be stressed: exposition to the anxiety generating stimuli and control over those stimuli.
