Expectativas de controlo interno-externo: Revisão da literatura e análise dos instrumentos

Abstract

This paper discuss the definition and conceptualization of the Locus of Control construct. The differences with other related constructs are also analyzed. A special emphasis is placed on the psychometric properties of the most used measures of expectancy of internal-external control of reinforcement. Finally, the situation of the Portuguese researches in this field is examined , and some suggestions for future studies are presented.
