Cinco perspectivas para um único caso clínico: Abordagem dinâmica em orientação psicanalítica do caso José

Abstract

In response to a request to comment on case José from the point of view of a psychotherapist trained in the kleinian psychoanalytic orientation, the presentation of the case is reviewed in order to bring out what a dynamic psychotherapist finds lacking in the information given for the purpose of psychological intervention. The most important point is that no indication is given on ego resilience and defense structures or organization of object relations. Interviewing, evaluating and treating the case are shown to be part of an ongoing process to promote change. Technical and ethical considerations are pointed out in an effort to clarify aspects of the treatment process.
