Feedback is considered to be one of the most important variables in the learning process. In this article the quantitative, temporal aspects and precision of knowledge of results (KR) are emphasized. In this synthesis some contradictions emerge that are not conveniently explained by the formulated theories. It is stressed the necessity of pursuing studies on the variables here presented: absolute and relative frequency of KR; KR delay, post-KR delay and intertrial delay; and precision of KR.
