Abstract

This paper provide us an insight about methodology and data analysis on social representation. On a first time we present a conceptual framework on social representation and the domains on the construct that justify analysis to identify it. The we explain a conceptual analysis about cognitive elements, like prototypes and schemas, that help us to build the cognitive maps where we identify the structure of the social representation. On a second time we explore the different methodologies on data collection and how they send to different results. Finally we identify the different techniques on data analysis that are applied on social representations, similarity analysis, correspondence analysis, and MDS and INDSCAL.
